Ras Mohamed was established in 1989.It is located in the south of Sinai. It is about 12 km from Sharm el sheikh. It is run under the supervision of UNISCO organization. It is considered to be the most attractive places in the red sea as a whole. The southern part of the Ras Mohamed is considered one of the ten best places for diving in the whole world. In the aquatic part of Ras Mohamed, there are more than 1000 species of fish, in addition to more than 150 kinds of coral reefs. Regarding the part of land, there are various kinds of animals such as: Foxes, reptiles and immigrating birds.

In Ras Mohamed you can see the most attractive kinds of colored fish, the fascinating coral reefs which have been there for more than two million years .Moreover; you can see geological cracks of earth and the line of earthquake which resulted from earthquakes. In Ras Mohamed magical lake or the “Salty Lake”. The salinity degree in this lake is twice the salinity of Red sea and it is close to that of the Dead Sea. In addition, there are Mangaroov trees which grow in salive water to decrease its salinity. There is also Ras Mohamed Panorama which is located in the far south of Sinai Peninsula on 70 meters hight.This place links the Suez bay with Aqaba bay.

A day trip from Sharm El Sheikh to Ras Moahammed is exactly what you need. We will pick you up around 8:30 am from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh and drive about 20 minutes to get to Ras Mohammed in a cool air conditioned bus.
